x² + y² = 25
To Find : 4a + 2b
Solution:
x² + y² = 25
=> x² + y² =5²
x₁ , y₁ and x₂ , y₂ are conjugate to circle x² + y² = r²
if x₁.x₂ + y₁.y₂ = r₂
=> 1b + a(2) = 5
=> b + 2a = 5
=> 2a + b = 5
=> 2(2a + b) = 2 (5)
=> 4a + 2b = 10
4a + 2b = 10
