1. A boat goes downstream and covers the distance
between two ports in 5 hours while it covers the
same distance upstream in 5 hours. Find the speed
of boat in still water if the speed of stream is 14km/hr.

you have given that the boat takes 5 hrs both in down stream and up stream to cover same distance. it seems there is some error in question.
