1. Given :-

Initial Velocity of body = u = 20 ms-¹

Acceleration = a = 5 ms-²

Time = t = 5s

Using Second equation of Motion,

S = ut + 1/2 at²

S = 20 × 5 + 1/2 × 5 × 5 × 5

S = 100 + 62.5

S = 162.5 m

2. It is difficult to climb up on greasy pole. This is because grease is a friction reducing agent and when we apply grease on the pole. It thus, reduces its friction very much almost equal to zero. Therefore, we cannot climb on poles.

3. The S.I. Unit of Linear Momentum is Kgms-¹ and rate of change of linear momentum is called as Force and S.I. unit of force is Newton(N).
