(1) No of red balls=5
No of blue balls=4
No of green balls=7
Total no of balls=5+4+7=16
The balls which are neither red nor green are blue balls that are 4 in number
Probability=no of favourable outcomes/total no of outcomes=4/16=1/4
(2)total no of letters =11
No of vowels=4
Probability of getting a vowel=4/11

1 )  p(E) =favourable outcome / total outcomes.

neither red nor green = 4 blur balls only (because no red or green)
so favourable outcome =4
total = 5 + 4+ 7 = 16
 p(E) =4/16 = 1/4

 p(E)= 1/4

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 )
PROBABILITY has 11 letters.
vowel = 4 ( O, A , I, I)
total =11

 p(E) =favourable outcome / total outcomes.

 p(E) = 4/11

hope it helps!!!!
