Question :–

A boy builds a cuboid measuring 6cm by 12 cm by 15 cm. How many of these cuboids are required to make a cube ?

Given :–

  • Length = 6 cm
  • Breadth = 12 cm
  • Height = 15 cm

To Find :–

  • How many of these cuboids are required to make a cube ?

Solution :–

First we have to find the L.C.M. of length, breadth & height.

★ L.C.M. refers to the attachment ★

  • L.C.M. = 60

• We need 10 cuboids for make length 60cm.

• We need 5 cuboids for make breadth of 60cm.

• We need 4 cuboids for make height of 60cm.

So,

Total cubes required = 10 × 5 × 4

→ 10 × 20

→ 200 cuboids

Hence,

200 cuboids are required to make a cube.
