l = 62m

b = 40m

The boy covered the distance twice.

So distance covered by him = 2 × perimeter

Perimeter = 2 (l+b)

= 2 (62+40)

= 2 (102)

= 204 m

Distance covered by him = 2 × 204

= 408 m
