1)A car accelaration uniformaly 18km/h to 36km/h in five seconds.What is the accelaration in ms-2?

2)In 10 minutes a car with a speed of 60km/h will travel how much distance?

3)A car with a speed of 35km/h will travel how much distance in 12 minutes?

4)The brakes in a car can produce a negative acceleration of 6ms-2.What is the initial velocity of the car if it stops after 2 seconds?

5)What will be the speed of the car after 2 seconds if it's body is moving along a straight line at 20ms-1 undergoes an acceleration of 4ms-2?

6)What will be the acceleration of a car if it increases it's speed from 36km/h to 54km/h in 10 seconds?

7)The increase in the speed of a car is proportional to the additional petrol to be put into the engine.Is it possible to accelarate the car without putting more or less petrol?

Explanation:

1) 18×5/18=1 m/sec. (initial velocity); 36×5/18=10 m/sec(final velocity)

acceleration=v-u/t=10-1/5=9/5m/sec^

2)10min=10/60=0.16 Hours

speed=distance/time

distance=Speed×time

distance=60×0.16=9.6km

3)time=12 min=12/60=0.2 hour

distance=0.2×35=7km

5) time=2 sec ; u=20 m/sec ; acceleration=4m/sec^2

v=u+at = v = 20+2×4=v=28 m/sec

6). 54×5/18=15 m/sec. ; 36×5/18=10 m/sec

acceleration=5/10=1/2m/sec^2

bhai soory yaar 4 or 7th nhi aaya
