1.A circular path runs around a circular plot .If the circumference of the plot and path are 40 m and 84 m respectively ,find the width of the path.

2.The difference between area and the square of the radius of a circle is 105 cm2(cmsquare). Find the circumference of the circle.

3.A circular park of radius 14m has a road of 7m width all around on it's outside.find the area of the road.

Step-by-step explanation:

1)circumference of path=88$$m

⇒2πr=88

⇒2.

7

22

.r=88

⇒r=14m

circumference of plot=44m

⇒2πr

=44

⇒2.

.r

=44

⇒r

=7m

therefore width of path=r−r

=14−7

=7m

2)Circumference =100 cm

Let radius of circle be r cm

Now, 2πr=100

r=

Diagonal of square = Diameter of circle =2r=

Let the side of the square =a cm

Now, diagonal of square =
