2. Petrol at a place costs 187/4 Rs/litre. What is the cost of 35 litres of petrol?

total length of cord = 143/2 m

number of pieces = 26

length \: of \: each \: piece \\ = (143 \div 2) \div 26m \\ = 71.5 \div 26m \\ = 2.75m

cost of 1 litre petrol
= 187/4
= 46.75
cost of 35 litre petrol.
=46.75*35
=1636.28rs
