Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

Length of Cuboid = 40cm

Breadth of cuboid = 35cm

Height of cuboid = 15cm

To find -

It's Surface area.

It's volume

Solution -

Surface area of cuboid = 2lb + bh +hl

Where,

L = Length

B = Breadth

H = Height

On substituting the values -

Surface area of cuboid = 2lb + bh + hl

→ Surface area = 2 (40 × 35) + (35 × 15) + (15 × 40)

→ Surface area = 2 (1400) + (525) + (600)

→ Surface area = 2 × 2525

→ Surface area = 5050 cm³

Volume of cuboid = L × B × H

Where,

L = Length

B = Breadth

H = Height

On substituting the values -

Volume of cuboid = L × B × H

→ Volume of cuboid = 40 × 35 × 15 cm

→ Volume of cuboid = 21,000 cm³

\therefore∴ The surface area of cuboid is 5050cm³ and volume of cuboid is 21,000cm³
