Answer:

Principal = 5300

Rate = 8%

Time = 5/2 = 2.5 years

S.I.=

=  \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}  \\  =  \frac{5300 \times 8 \times 2.5}{100}  \\  = 53 \times 8 \times 2.5 \\  = 53 \times 20 \\ =  1060 \\

Amount = 5300 + 1060

=6360

Amount Paid= 4600

Price of watch= 6360-4600

=1760

Step-by-step explanation:Principal amount = Rs 2500

Interest per year = 3% x 2500 = 0.03 x 2500 = Rs 75

Interest for 2 years = 75 x 2 = Rs 150

Principal amount = Rs 1000

Interest per year = 5% x 1000 = 0.05 x 1000 = Rs 50

Interest for 2 years = 50 x 2 = Rs 100

Total interest = 150 + 100 = Rs 250

Answer: The total interest after 2 years is Rs 250

Rohan

5000×7×8/2×100=1400

Sunil

5000×6×4/100

1200

Rohan gets more interest than Sunil
