Given:-

  • Force ,F = 25 N

  • Displacement ,s = 8m

To Find:-

  • Work done ,W

Solution:-

As we know that work done is defined as the product of force and displacement.

• W = FS

Substitute the value we get

→ W = 25 ×8

→ W = 200 J

Therefore, the work done is 200 Joules.

Additional Information!!

•Product of mass and acceleration is called force.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀OR

•A push or pull of an object is called force.

✧ SI unit of Force is Newton.

✧ It is denoted by N.

✧ Force is vector Quantity i.e., both Magnitude and direction.

✧ Mathematical term

⟹ Force = Mass×Acceleration

Given,

F=25N

S=8M

Work done =?

We know that W=FS

Plugging the values

W=25×8

W=200J

Therefore Work done by body is 200J
