Given :-

→ Magnitude of force = 50 N

→ Mass of the body = 10 kg

→ Time = 5 seconds

To find :-

→ Acceleration of the body.

→ It's velocity after 5 seconds.

Solution :-

According to Newton's 2nd Law of motion, we know that :-

F = ma

⇒ 50 = 10(a)

⇒ a = 50/10

a = 5 m/s²

Hence, acceleration is 5 m/s² .

________________________________

Since, the body was at rest initially. So, it's initial velocity will be 0 m/s .

Now, by the 1st equation of motion :-

v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 5(5)

⇒ v = 0 + 25

v = 25 m/s

Thus, velocity of the body after 5 seconds is 25 m/s .

Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

Force applied on the body, F = 50 N

Mass of the body, m = 10 kg

Time, t = 5 seconds

To Find,

Acceleration, a

Final velocity, v

Formula to be used,

Newton's 2nd law, F = ma

1st equation of motion, v = u + at

Solution,

Putting all the values, we get

F = ma

⇒ 50 = 10 × a

⇒ a = 50/10

a = 5 m/s².

Hence, the acceleration is 5 m/s².

Now, the final velocity,

v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 5 × 5

v = 25 m/s

Hence, the final velocity is 25 m/s.
