1) After breaking into 10 pieces, each piece behaves as a single complete magnet in itself. So, for 10 pieces there will be 10 north poles formed.

2) (a) You can freely suspend at it ffom the middle ,at moat cases for example a Thread can be used .

(b) As well When you want to know the poles you can either see through it that the North pole will face the North Direction while the South Pole in the South Direction .

(c) Indeed very easily you can mark the poles .
