Given, increase in his salary = 10%

And new salary

 = 10\%

Let the original salary be ₹100.

 = ₹(100 + 10) = ₹110

If new salary is ₹110, then original salary

 = ₹100

if new salary is ₹ 1, then original salary

 = ₹ \frac{100}{110}

If new salary is ₹154000, then original salary

 = (154000 \times \frac{100}{110} )

Hence, the original salary before increment was ₹14000.

Then, after 10% increase, new salary
