1. A man got a 10% increase in his salary. If his new salary is # 1,54,000, find his
original salary.​

new salary = x- 10% of x where x represent his original salary. therefore, 1,54,000= x+10x/100 = (100x+ 10x)/100 = 110x/100 hence, 1,54,000×100÷110 = 1400000 rupee
