Answer:

Let his monthly income be x.

So,

18% of x = Rs.1890

18x/100 = Rs.1890

18x = Rs.1890 × 100

x = Rs.189000/18

x = Rs.10500

Solution

Given:

  • Amount he saves = ₹1890
  • Percentage of amount he saves = 18%

To find:

His monthly income.

Solving:

Let the monthly income be  \bold{x}

 \bold{18 \: percent \: of \: x} =  \bold{₹ 1890}

 \bold{\rightarrow{\frac{18x}{100}}} =   \bold{₹1890}

 \bold{\rightarrow{18x = 1890 × 100}}

 \bold{\rightarrow{x = 189000 ÷ 18}}

 \bold{\rightarrow{x = ₹10,500}}

∴ His monthly income is 10,500
