Since sphere of radius r is melted and recast in to cylinder of radius R and height h.

So, volume of sphere =Volume of cylinder

 \frac{4}{3} \pi \:  {r }^{3}  = \pi \:  { R}^{2} h \\  \frac{4}{3}  \times 4.2  \times 4.2 \times 4.2 = 6 \times 6 \times h \\ h =  \frac{1372}{1000}  \\ h = 1.372 \: cm
