let 1 rupee coins be y
then, 3x = y. ---------------1eq.
x + y = 45 ------------------------2eq.
taking eq. 1 we get
y= 3x
then put y= 3x in eq.2 to get value of x
x + 3x = 45
4x = 45
x = 45/4
put x = 45/4 in eq.1
y = 3 (45/4)
y = 135 /4
