Step-by-step explanation:

dealer charges 2% commission

Mr Ram Lal paid 20,000 as a commission

so the value of flat = ?

the 2 % commission is of flat is extra charged by property dealer .

so we have to find first 1% of flat value so we have to divide 20,000 from 2

  • 20000 ÷ 2 = 10000

so now we have a 1 % of flat value so now we have to multiply 100 to get value of flat without commission

  • 10,000 × 100 = 1,000,000

so the value of house without commission is 1,000,000

with commission the value of flat is 1,000,000 + 20,000 = 1,020,000
