Length of the rectangle (l) = 4cm

Breadth of the rectangle (b) = 3.5cm

Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth

                               = l × b

                             = 4 × 3.5

                            = 14.0 = 14 cm²

Therefore, the area of the rectangle is 14cm².

★ Given :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 4 cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 3.5 cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

★ To Find :-

  • Area of Rectangle = ?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

★ Solution :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here, Length of Rectangle is given 4 cm. Breadth of Rectangle is given 3.5 cm. And, we have to find Area of Rectangle .

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Now let's solve step by step -----

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Formula Required :-

\bullet \: \sf{Area \: of \: Rectangle = L \times B}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here :-

  • L denotes to the Length .
  • B denotes to the Breadth .

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

By substituting the given values :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\dashrightarrow \:  \sf{Area \: of \: Rectangle = 4 \times 3.5} \\  \\  \dashrightarrow \:  \sf{Area \: of \: Rectangle = 14 \: cm}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hence :-

  • Area of Rectangle = 14 cm² .
