Step-by-step explanation:

outer Area = 30m × 25 m

=750 m^2

Iner length = 30 m - (2.5m + 2.5m )

= 25m

Iner breadth = 25m - ( 2.5 m + 2.5 m )

= 20m

Iner Area = 25m × 20m

= 500 m^2

Area of the path = Outer Area - Iner Area

= 750 m^2 - 500m^2

=250m^2

Answer:

Length of the garden = 30m

Breadth of the garden =. 25m

Width of path = 2.5m

New length = 30 + 2.5 + 2.5 = 35 m

New Breadth = 25 + 2.5 + 2.5 = 30 m

Area of path = Area of larger rectangle -

Area of smaller rectangle

Area of path = (35 × 30) - (30 × 25)

Area of path = 1050 - 750

Area of path = 300
