Given : A rectangular garden in a backyard has an area of (3x²+5x-2) square meters. Its widhth is (x+2) meters.

To Find the length of the garden.

Solution:

rectangular garden area = Length * Width

=> Length * (x+2)  =  3x²+5×-2

3x²+5x-2 = 3x²+6x-x-2

= 3x(x + 2) - 1(x + 2)

= (3x - 1)(x + 2)

Length * (x+2)  =  (3x - 1)(x + 2)

=> Length  = 3x - 1

Length  = 3x - 1

Width = (x + 2)

Length  = (3x - 1 )/2  ,  (x + 2)       will make two congruent garden
