1 ​A See Saw is a lever on which unequal weight kids sit at different distances from the central point (also called the fulcrum) and balance it.

If the fulcrum is considered as origin, then distance towards right is positive and distance towards left is considered as negative.
The see saw balance if
WA x DA + WB x DB = 0
WA = Weight of child A
DA = Distance of child A from fulcrum
WB = Weight of child B
DB = Distance of child B from fulcrum
a) If weight of A is 22 kg and weight of B is 7 kg. Will the see saw balance ?
b) What should be the distance of Child B so that the see saw will balance , If distance of child A remains same?
c) What should be the distance of child A so that see saw balance if the distance of child B remains same as shown in the figure.
