1. A solution contains 60 gm of common salt in 240 gm of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of solution.​

concentration of solution = mass of solute/ mass of solution x 100

mass of solute = 60 g

mass of solvent =240g

mass of solution = 60g +240=300g

concentration of solution = 60/300 x 100

= 1/5 x 100

= 20%
