Taking the time for travel to the window top on its free fall of stone be t=> the covering of the window length of 2m by the stone could have an eqn of path as 2={(gt+gt+g×0.1)/2}×0.1

Solving the eqn could bring 2=g(t+0.05)×0.1=>

20=g(t+0.05)=>t={2–0.05}=1.5s.Hence the height of roof above window is the distance of free fall from roof to window top in the above available time.Hence the height=(1/2)×10×1.5²
