   (30/100)*50 =x

    x=15

50% of water =x

(50/100)* 50 =x

 x=25

water needed =>  x+15 =25

                              x=10 .

2) (i) x% of 60 =20               ( since 80-20 =60)

        (x/100)* 60=20

          x=33.3

   (ii)  x% of 120 =40               ( since 120-80=40)

        (x/100)*120 =40

         x=33.3
