Given that bulb is rated 200 V/100 W hence maximum voltage = 200 V and power of bulb is 100 W.

Solution: P = V²/R

→ R = 200²/100

→ R = 400 Ω

New power;

→ P = V²/R

→ P = 100²/400

→ P = 25 Ω

Answer: Option (ii)

(ii) 25 W

According to the given question

Tf a bulb of rating 200 V/100 W is used at 100 volt then So,we have to find what will be the power of the bulb

hence,

R = V²/R

R = 200²/100

R=400

P=100²/400

P=25W
