1)A train 250 m long is running at a speed of 50kmph. How long it will take to cross the pole.

2)A car is travelling at the speed of 45kmph. How far distance it would travel in 15 minutes.

3)The distance (x km) of a journey by bus and price y of the ticket. This statement is direct variation or inverse variation.

Answer:

1)250 m long train is take time to cross the pole is 18 Sec.

2)the car is running at a speed of 45km/hr and that is travelled the distance is 11.10 km in 15 min.

3) I think direct variation.

Step-by-step explanation:

1)Speed =50km/hr , distance=250 m.

formula- S=D/T

then we want time to cross the pole,

change formula in T=D/S, then declare the values in formula,

T=250 m/50km/hr

the distance is consider as meter(m), but speed is consider as kilometer per hour(km/hr). So we need to change km/hr is meter per seconds(m/s) using 5/18 value is multiple with km/hr value. Because now we cancel the meter at newmarator and denominator.

T=250m/50(5/18)m/s

T=250/250/18 s

then 250 also cancel the answer is 18 sec.

2) Speed = 45km/hr , Time=15min.

in this time we need to find distance so convert the above(S=D/T) formula D=S*T. Subtute the values,

D=45km/hr*15min

we convert the min to hour then we get 1/4 hour(15m). then declare this,

D=45 km/ hr *1/4 hour

then solve this we get final answer distance is 11.10km.
