AnswEr:-

The Required Answer Is 50 meter (or metre) per second.

ExplanaTion:-

Given:-

  • Total distance of journey of the train = 60 km.

  • Time taken to complete the journey = 20 minutes.

To Find:-

  • The Average speed of the train (in meters).

Formula Used:-

{\rm\longrightarrow\boxed{\bf S = \dfrac{D}{T}.}}

Where,

  • S = Speed.

  • D = Distance.

  • T = Time.

Concepts Used:-

  • 1 kilometer = 100 meters.

  • 1 Minute = 60 Seconds.

So Now,

\because We have to Find out the Average speed in meter per second So let us first convert 60 km in meters amd 20 minutes in seconds.

\tt\mapsto 1 \: km = 1000 \: m.

\tt\mapsto1  \: km\times 60 = 1000 \: m \times 60.

 \rm\big(multiplying \:  \: 60 \:  \: both \:  \: the \:  \: sides \big).

{\bf\mapsto \boxed{ \bf60  \: km = 60000 \: m.}}

Similarly,

\tt\mapsto1 \: \:  min = 60 \: \:  sec

\tt\mapsto1 \:  \: min  \times 20 = 60 \:  \: sec \times 20.

 \rm \big(multiplying \:  \: 20 \:  \:  both \:  \: sides \big).

{ \bf\mapsto \boxed{ \bf20 \:  \: min = 1200 \:  \: sec.}}

Therefore,

{\underline{\underline{\bf Average \ \ Speed\ \ Of\ \ The\ \ Train:-}}}

 \tt = \dfrac{600 \cancel{00} \:  \:  \cancel{m}}{12 \cancel{00} \:  \:  \cancel{sec}} .

 \tt =  \dfrac{ \cancel{600} \:  \:  {}^{50} }{ \cancel{12} \:  \: _1}

{ \boxed{ \bf =50 \: m/s}}

\large\bf\therefore The Average Speed Of the Train = 50 meter per second.
