The whole sum is in the S.I. Unit:

Speed= 75km/hr

= \frac{75×1000}{60×60}

= \frac{125}{6}

1) Time= 20 mins= 20×60 secs= 1200secs

Distance = Speed×Time

D= \frac{125}{6}

2) Distance= 250km = (250×1000) metre,

 Speed=\frac{125}{6}

Time=\frac{Distance}{Speed}

T=12000 secs

3.33 hour

Answer:

1.) 25. So, the train will cover a distance of 25 km in 20 minutes. or y = 250 × 60 75 = 200 minutes or 3 hours 20 minutes. Therefore, 3 hours 20 minutes will be required to cover a distance of 250 kilometres.

i.) We have to find the distance covered in 20 minute. Distance covered by the train in 20 minute =75km60×20=25km.

ii.)Hence, the train will cover 15km in 20 minutes
