(1) A train moving with a uniform speed covers a
distance of 120m is 2s. Calculate(a) the speed of the
train, (b)the time it will take to coverr 240 m​

Given:

Distance covered by train in 2 second = 120 Metres

Find:

a) Speed of Train

b) Time Taken To cover 240 Metres

So:

A ) Speed = distance / Time

here ;

Distance is 120 metres

Time Taken is 2 seconds

therefore , 120 /2 = 60

The speed of train is 60 ms-¹

B ) TIME TAKEN TO COVER 240 M :

Time = Distance / speed

so ,

• distance = 240 M

• Speed = 60 m/s-¹

so , 240 / 60 m/s-1

= 4 seconds

A) speed = 60ms-1

B) Time = 4Seconds.
