1. A train moving with uniform speed covers a
distance of 150 m in 5 s. Calculate
(a) The speed of the train.
(b) The time it takes to cover 240 m.​

distance covered = 150m

time taken = 5s

a) speed = distance / time

= 150m/5s = 30m/s

b) time = distance/speed

= 240m/30m/s = 8s
