1. A truck is moving on a straight road with constant acceleration. The initial velocity of
car is 4 ms- and after 10 seconds, its velocity becomes 16 ms.
Calculate
(a) acceleration of truck, and
(b) distance travelled by truck in first 10 second

t=time=10s

v= final velocity =16m/s

a=acceleration=?

Using first equation of motion

v=u+at

a=16-4/10

=1.2m/s²

Now,

using the second equation of motion

S=ut+1/2at²

s=4(10)+1/2(1.2)(10)²

s=40+60

=100m
