1. A valve of a cylinder containing 12kg of compressed gas is opened and the cylinder empties in Im 30second. If the issues from the exit nozzle with average velocity of ms-1 find the force exerted on the cylinder.​

Mass of the gas = 12 kg

mass flow rate coming out of the cylinder,

12 \: kg  \:  \: per \:  \: 90 \: sec \\  =  \frac{2}{15}  \:  \frac{kg}{sec}

Force = Mass Flow rate * speed

 =  \frac{2}{15}  \frac{kg}{s}  \times 15 \frac{m}{s}  = kg \frac{m}{ {s}^{2} }  \\  = 2 \: newton
