Length of each side of the heptagon = 3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A wire of length 45 cm is cut into two pieces

Let say  A cm & B cm

45 = A  + B

One piece is bent into a rectangle of length 8 cm and width 4 cm

=> A = 2 ( 8 + 4)

=> A = 2 * 12

=> A = 24 cm

45 = 24 + B

=> B = 21 cm

Heptagon has 7 sides

Let say length of each sides = c

=> B = 7c

=> 21 = 7c

=> c = 3 cm

length of each side of the heptagon = 3 cm
