1 Question

ABC is a triangle right-angled at B. If AB = 10 cm and BC = 24 cm, find AC.

Answer

Given

  • ABC is a triangle right-angled at B. If AB = 10cm and BC = 24 cm.

To Find

  • AC.

Solution

AB = 10 cm

BC = 24 cm

AC = ?

Using pythagoras theorem:-

H² = B² + P²

H² = (24)² + (10)²

H² = 576 + 100

H² =  \sqrt{676}

H² = 26

Hence,AC = 26 cm.
