therefore sr parallel to ac and sr = 1/2 ac......1

now to prove pq =sr

in triangle abc ,

p and q are midpoints of sides ab and bc respectively.

pq parallel to ac and pq=1/2ac.......2

from 1 and 2 pq=sr and pq parralel to sr

now that we proved

pq=srand

pq parallel to ac and sr parrlel to ac

so, pq parrel to sr

in pqrs

one pair of opposite side of its parallelogram and equal.

hence pqrs is a parallellogram
