The correct answer to the given question is option (c) North-west

The answer can be easily understood with the following steps:

1) moving to south and then turning right means turning in the west direction.

2) then, moving in west direction and again turning right means turning in north direction.

3) as Abhinav is in the western direction and moving northward, he will be in North-West direction.

*The distances given in the question are just to confuse and nothing of much importance.

Abhinav is now in the North West direction from his starting point.

Explanation:

  • As he was walking in south direction for 10. So his direction is now towards south then he turns right and walks for 20 metres so now his direction of moving is towards west.
  • Now again he turns towards his right and starts walking up to 45 meters.
  • So now from the starting point, he is about 35 metres above and the direction from the starting point is North West.
