1. Air at a temperature of 35 0C passes through a heat exchanger at a velocity of 50m/s and expands till thetemperature is raised to 930 oC. It then enters a turbine with the same velocity and expands till the temperature falls to 715 oC. On leaving the turbine, the air is taken at a velocity of 65m/sto a nozzle where it expands until the temperature has fallen to 600 oC. If the flow rate is 3.2kg/s, cacculate:
rate of heat transfer to the air in the heat exchanger
the power out put from the turbine assuming no heat loss
velocity at exit from the nozzle assuming no heat loss
enthalpy of air to be1.005
