1. Ajoker's cap is in the form of right circular cone whose base radius is 7cm and height is 24
cm. Find the area of the sheet required to make 10 such caps.​

Given :-

  • Radius of the cone = 7 cm
  • height of the cone = 24 cm

To Find :-

  • area of the sheet required to make 10 such caps ?

Solution :-

we know that,if

  • l = slant height
  • h = height
  • r = radius

 \boxed{  {\bold{ {l}^{2}  =  {r}^{2} +  {h}^{2}  }}}

 \bold{:  \implies  {l}^{2}  =  {7}^{2} +  {24}^{2}  } \:  \\  \\  \bold{: \implies  {l}^{2}  = 49 + 576} \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies  {l}^{2}  = 625} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies l =  \sqrt{625} }\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \\  \\  \bold{: \implies l = 25 } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, slant height of the conical caps is 25 cm

so, area of one conical cap is 550 cm²

now,

area of sheet = 550 × 10 = 5500 m²

hence, area of sheet required to make 10 conical caps is 5500 m²
