If he goes east 24km and 10m north, then if draw a line from initial point to 10m north, it forms a right angled triangle and the line behaves an hypotenuse of the right angled triangle so with Pythagoras theorem, it can be solved. Let the distance of initial point to 10 m birth point be x, then,
