Answer:

Let present age of Aman and his son be x years and y years respectively.

According to question:

x=3y

And ten years ago:

(x-10)=5(y-10)

x-10=5y-50

From first equation

3y-10=5y-50

2y=40

y=20

Then x=3×20

x=60

Hence the present ages of Aman and his son are 60and 20 years respectively.
