1. An airplane accelerates down a runway at 3.20 m/s2 for 32.8 s until is finally lifts off the ground. Determine the distance traveled before takeoff.

here is your answer
given acceleration =3.2m/s^2
time =32.8sec
according to Newton first law
v=u+at. but v=0m/s.
so u=at. (taking magnitude only )
u=(3.2)(32.8)=104.96m/s
distance =?
according to Newton 2nd law
s=ut+1/2at^2=(104.96)(32.8)+1/2(3.2)(32.8)^2
s=5132.2 m
