(1).

We know that two angles are supplementary when they add upto  180.

Let the angle be x.

Then the other angle will be 180 - x.

= > Given that an angle is 1/3rd of its supplement.

= > x = 1/3 * (180 - x)

= > 3x = 180 - x

= > 4x = 180

= > x = 45.

Therefore the measures are 45 and 180 - 45 = 135.

(2)

We know that 2 angles are complement when they add up to 90 degrees.

Let one angle be x.

Then the other angle will be 90 - x.

Given that An angle is = to 5 times its complement.

= > x = 5(90 - x)

= > x = 450- 5x

= > 6x = 450

= > x = 75.

Therefore the measures are 75 and 90 - 75 = 15.

(3)

We know that two angles are supplementary when they add up to 180.

Let one angle be x.

Then the other angle will be 180 - x.

Given that Supplement of an angle is 1/3rd of itself.

= > x = 1/3 * 180 - x

= > 3x = 180 - x

= > 4x = 180

= > x = 180/4

= > x = 45.

Therefore the measures are 45 and 180 - 45 = 135.

Hope this helps!
