1. An athlete completes one round of a circular track of diameter
200 m in 40 s. What will be the distance covered and the
displacement at the end of 2 minutes 20 s?​

distance = 2198 m

displacement = 314 m

Explanation:

distance = speed ×time

first circumference of circular track = 2πr

= 2× 3.14× 100= 628m

speed at 1 st round = circumference / time

speed = 628/ 40 = 15.7 m/s

now distance in 2 minutes 20 s

= 15.7 × 140

= 2198

displacement at circular track = distance / circumfernce then our remainder will be displacement
