1. An object has a mass of 30 kg. What is its weight, (i) on the Moon, (ii) on another planet?
The value of 'g' on the Moon is 'th that of the Earth and 3 times that of the Earth on the
planet. [gEarth = 10 m/s2]
(i) 50 N, (ii) 900 N.​

weight of boy on earth  (We)=30kg

weight of boy on moon  (Wm)=?

we know that -

Wm=1/6×weight of object on earth

       =1/6×30kg

       =5N

therefore, the weight of boy on moon is 5N
