travelled during the period of acceleration?

Initial velocity= 4 m/sec

time= 5 sec

Rate of accelaration= 2 m/sec

using the formula:

s = ut + 1/2 at2

s = 4 x 5 + 1/2 x 2 x 25    [ square of 5 is 25]

s = 20+ 25

s =45

# distance travelled by the object during the period of accelaration is 45 m
