1 Ankit and Mukesh can alone do a piece of work in 8 days and 12 days respectively. With the help of Ramesh, they can finish it in 4 days. If the salary difference between Mukesh and Ramesh is Rs.11440, find the total salary of Ankit, Mukesh and Ramesh? ​

Given:

Ankit can do a piece of work in 8 days.

Mukesh can do it in 12 days.

Ramesh along with Ankit and Mukesh can do it in 4 days.

Salary between Mukesh and Ramesh is Rs.11440.

To find:

Total salary of Ankit, Mukesh and Ramesh.

Explanation:

Let  Ramesh can do the work alone in x days.

According to question,

(\frac{1}{8} +\frac{1}{12}+\frac{1}{x} )=\frac{1}{4}\\

\frac{1}{x} =\frac{1}{4}-( \frac{1}{8}+ \frac{1}{12})\\\\\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{24}\\\\\implies x=24\ days

Hence , Ramesh can do that work alone in 24 days.

So, their ratio of 1 day's work will be (Ankit: Mukesh : Ramesh),

\frac{1}{8}: \frac{1}{12}: \frac{1}{24}

Their share ratios will be,

3:2:1

It is given that,

Difference between the salary of Mukesh and Ramesh  is  Rs. 11440.

let the salary of Ankit, Mukesh and Ramesh be 3y, 2y, y respectively.

2y-y=11440\\\implies y=11440

So, sum of their salaries is  3y+2y+y=6y

\therefore total \ salary \ of \ all \ 3 \ people \ is \ 6x=6\times 11440=68640

Hence, total of al salaries are Rs.68,640.
