1. Initial Measurements:

Length of my mathematics book = 24 cm.

Breadth of my mathematics book = 18 cm.

Length of my pen = 14 cm.

Measurements required:

¼th of the book's length = ¼ × 24 = 6 cm.

⅓rd of the book's breadth = ⅓ × 18 = 6 cm.

½ of the pen's length = ½ × 14 = 7 cm.

(a) Refer to attachment (photo).

(b) Measuring all the angles using a protractor, we get,

angle ABC = 70°.

angle BCA = 55°.

angle CAB = 55°.

Here,

The largest side of the triangle is AC (7 cm).

Angle opposite to AC is angle ABC.

From the above measurements taken, we can see that, angle ABC (= 70°) is the largest angle among all the other angles. Hence, the angle opposite the largest side of the triangle drawn is largest angle among all the other angles.

(c) Cut out the angles of the triangle, as shown in 2nd photo.

Place the angles at a point, say P.

We can see that, all the angles together form a semi circle, thus, forming a straight line.

Please note:

The measurement taken here are according to my maths textbook and pen. Your measurements might be different. But, method is the same.
